What to Expect 

Your first Hypnosis Session

After our consultation, you will come in for your first hypnotherapy session!
I know you will be excited and apprehensive, so here is what you can expect ( and not expect ) ;)

You are going make yourself comfortable, sit in a nice comfy chair and take a deep breath—this is a judgment-free zone, and I promise not to hypnotize you into clucking like a chicken (unless that's your goal, of course and that IS extra :).

Our first session will be an exploration of your goals, challenges, and what brought you to this place in your life where you are
ready for change.

Think of it as a private chat with a friend who happens to know a thing or two about the incredible power of the subconscious mind, and more specifically, how to tap into yours. There are also different techniques that I will teach that will help you self regulate and lessen the negative responses that may be your default when you are experiencing stress.

During the session, we'll begin to unravel the knots of limiting beliefs and negative programming that have been holding you back, how they came to be, and then replacing them with empowering thoughts and habits that will propel you toward your desired future.
This session is all about talking to your brain in a that it will understand why and how to make the changes that you want in your life. You will be in complete control of this process, and at no time will I ever be in control of you.  
I cannot make you do anything you don't want to do, nor can I change your personality in any way.

I am only a guide into the deep recesses of your mind.

After we both agree on your goals and what you would like to accomplish, I will ask you to close your eyes and relax and I'll 

begin speaking to you using hypnotic language patterns and NLP that will put your brain in a state of neuro-plasticity so that it can and will make the desired changes, and in a much shorter time frame than you might think. 

I'll guide you gently into this relaxed state and together, we'll begin to write the next chapter in your story.

All you have to do is sit back, relax, and get ready for an enlightening journey into the depths of your mind.

Afterward, it will seem as if no time had passed and you will feel rested and refreshed, as if you had a mind massage.

I record the actual hypnosis session so that you can listen to it at home, and reinforce the work that we do together.

There are many reasons a person chooses hypnosis, some issues require deeper work than others and so after our initial time together, we will talk about the benefits of having additional sessions.

And don't worry, hypnotherapy isn't magic—it's a natural state of heightened suggestibility that we all experience daily. You are very much in charge of the sessions and can choose to come out of trance any time you like ( or stay in as long as you like, it is very relaxing ).

It is a fantastic process by which we peel away all the baggage you have accumulated over your life time so that you can be who you were truly meant to be in this life.
